AB Group supports the launch of the new Co-op Beacon Centre
AB Group attended the launch of the Co-op Beacon Centre in South Shields, a training store for young people, and supported its refrigeration delivery.
On Thursday 1st August 2019 AB Group attended the launch of the new Co-op Beacon Centre in South Shields. The Beacon Centre (Alternative Education Behaviour Support Service) is a Pupil Referral Unit supporting children, young people and their families who, for a variety of reasons, are currently unable to access mainstream education.
The Co-op Beacon Centre will educate the children in healthy eating, managing money, shop worker respect, age-related products, personal hygiene, and the consequences of shoplifting and knife crime.
AB Group provided the Co-op with support and expertise to aid in its refrigeration delivery. AB Group supplied the centre with a laptop and connected it up to the RDM via the internet, so all the information regarding refrigeration could be seen at store level.
